CE Course Description
Millennials have a unique health experience compared to generations before them as related to the growth of the technology industry, specific types of parenting by Generation X, the opioid epidemic, the trauma of 9/11 and other significant events. Millennials are also the highest accessing generation of mental health services and the most unhealthy of the generations. Mental health professionals supporting millennials must be prepared for how to best support their unique mental health experience. This course will review trends of millennial mental health, services to best support them, and an understanding of the unique millennial experience to ensure that services millennials receive are best supporting their overall needs.
