CE Course Description

LGBTQ individuals experience behavioral health struggles at a higher rate than heterosexual individuals, and they are more likely to experience stigma, face risk factors for mental illness, and be exposed to health disparities at greater rates. To improve access to and quality of mental health care for individuals who identify as LGBTQ, it is important for clinicians to become allies to support this marginalized population.
