CE Course Description

Implicit bias is ingrained in all of us, shaping our everyday interactions with clients, often without us realizing it. Despite our best efforts to avoid bias, its influence can still be present, unnoticed. This course will guide participants in understanding how implicit biases are formed, how they can subtly manifest in our conversations and behaviors, and how they may affect the quality of care marginalized individuals receive. Participants will also explore the broader impact of bias within organizations and learn practical tools to identify and reduce these biases, ultimately improving access to equitable healthcare.
