CE Course Description

Mental health issues and the needs for services are currently at an all-time high for children. Numerous professionals are attempting to address these issues and find ways to help children heal from crises and trauma, especially following the COVID-19 pandemic. While schools are an ideal place to incorporate services, this is only one solution to the significant shortage of mental health resources for young people. Additionally, there is a significant need to focus on mental wellness and prevention to help children struggling with mental health. This course will educate professionals in identifying and preventing mental health issues in children.
