CE Course Description

Individuals living through a pandemic will experience adversity in their lives. A pandemic causes mental health struggles for individuals who may and may not be at-risk for them. It is essential that mental health professionals understand the impacts that a pandemic causes and the interventions that can be used to address those impacts. This course will review information regarding the negative outcomes of a pandemic for many different groups of people, how to cope during a pandemic, the benefits of self-care during a pandemic, and strategies for mental health professionals who are doing community-based work during a pandemic.
